Magnets?

Does anybody know the exact effects of riding a rollercoaster that has a magnetic breaking system? I've looked online but have not been able to find any definitive answers. the articles I found say to stay away from magnets but none of them detail why and what the effects are if you don't.
I have a particular fondness for rollercoasters and have been advised not to ride any that have magnets. If I must deprive myself I would at least like to know why?
Can anyone help me?
Email me at bitchee@aapt.net.au if you can answer my questions.

rollercoasters

I've never looked it up but my doctors have always told me that since they use magnets to read and program the pacemaker and giant magnet that is used for rollercoasters could interfere with it. That and the g-force the rollercoaster uses to jerk you around could make the leads shift... I miss rollercoasters too, they say it may not do anything to certain people but it isn't worth it. Just avoid going places with them around and you won't think about it as much.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.
