Mountains...I think. You wonderful people in PM club are just too 'big hearted'( no pun meant esp. in this site) I have some rather good news for you all.
I think God does give blessings in small doses and we just have to hang in there and wait patiently. If anything we just have to be grateful for little mercies.
It's been a long long week for me and running with my husband from medical centres to hospital labs and then back again to clinics made me really akin to a zombie. I was so drained by the end of this afternoon, cos we started to do tests from early morning, I couldn't phone my friends and siblings. Just dead numbed by this rushing about.
Good news I bring now is that the surgeon after extensive tests and scans came up with conclusion that he is going to do the operation this Mon 28th, but will only excise the growth without having to remove the entire rectum. That was what we feared; This was in our minds cos the tumour was lying in that very close margin that was about to penetrate thru the rectum wall! Today's ultra sound scan showed that it's possible that with very skillful hands, the surgeon can remove the tumour without extensive damage. However, our next hurdle is to pray and hope that it's not malignant! This is really up to our good Lord.
For now, we are elated. Can't ask for more. We'll have to take one step at a time; Hoping that all this stress also won't do my heart in...I just want to take this time to thank you all here, those PM/ICD prayer warriors...you're so supportive. Thank you too Blake for this site.

Good days to you and your hubby!
Just wanted to say that I will continue to pray for you and that there is no need to thank me.... the thanks all goes to God. It is a pleasure to read of your good news this morning. You my dear must be exhausted from all the worry and running your hubby about though. Get some rest now and we will continue to pray for you both.
Blessings....

Hi Bunnykin,
Such good news! What's even better, is that you are both taking this one step at a time! Take the good, with the bad, with the uncertainty, one step at a time. No need to worry about what may or may not happen! We are ultimately in God's hands! Take a deep, grateful breath and smile!
Peace to you and your husband!

Delighted to hear a further hurdle's passed without further trauma and will continue to pray for Paul's wellbeing and restoration to good health. You must try now, Bunnykin, to recoup some strength ready for next week. Thinking of you both. Wannabe

You and your husband, Paul, have been surrounded by prayer from many folks in this club. It is good news about the pending surgery; I will continue praying that the stubborn tumor can be removed easily and is benign. Meantime you and Paul will continue to be prayed for as you are facing a tough day Monday. We will all be anxious to hear from you after the surgery to know how it went. I am praying for both of you just to get through these next few days and I ask the Lord to give you strength as you wait though the surgery on Monday. We will be anxious to get a report from you. Take care of yourself and God bless.

Bunnykins...You and your husband are in my prayers. You seem to be a stronger person than you think you are. I'm sure it's been a difficult time for you both.

God Bless,
Suze
