pain in my arm and armpit

Hi everyone
Its been a few weeks now since my pacer was put in (dec18) i have still been having lots of pain in my shoulder and down my arm its not a constant pain , when it hits it hits very hard and hurts so bad , almost like a burning pain , i was wondering if anyone might know if that could be angina? i have talked to the nurse about at the doctors but she just dismises it at pain from the procedure. Im worried something else could be going on with my heart? On the brighter side i have noticed my energy level had gone up bigtime ! but this pain is terriable , any thoughts would be appreciated. Steve

hi

I too have pain in my arm and armpit and i had my pacemaker installed in august 07. The pain is in my shoulders and i cant sleep on my pacemaker side i also have a throbbing pain at the top of my arm i ,mentioned this to the dr she said take painkillers which havent worked so now i m going back to the doctors i myself think i need physio as both my shoulders have frozen and i cant lift my arms above my head and it is very painful but the doctors seem to think as long as your pacemaker is ok then nothing to worry about but im restricted in what i can do and find it hard to get dressed and do day to day things i let u know what the docs say
