Projects

Have you ever felt like you're being left out? Well, I know that felling very well. One day in school, I was assinged a video project and one of the girls that I worked with told me to pick out the music. So whiile I was doing that, the girl pushed me out the way and she picked out the music. I dealt with this very carefullly because I didn't want to hurt her feelings. So, I backed out and let the other two girls to the project by themselves.

Never let yourself be left out

Hmmm------ Sounds like she did not give a second thought to your feelings - pushing you out of the way.

Reactions do not have to be hurtful. Just genuinely ask a question. What's going on? If you get a hurtful response ask 'how do you suppose that makes me feel? Was that your intention?

You will be surprised how many times folks are genuinely taken aback by their own behavior once they have to think about it. And if they are not - that is shame on them not shame on you.

Look after others as you would want to be looked after yourself - but never ever shy away from those that would hurt you - always ask them to account for themselves.

Francis, I am truly sorry Beth and I hurt your feelings! SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY! Because sometimes sorry is the only thing you can say. I love you as a friend and we have to remain friends. UVA right!? Ok, I know we were bosy, but I just didn't like the drums! Personally, I felt the ragtime had a random, offbeat effect, so please don't take it personally! Nothing can ruin ourfriendship, so please forgive me! :(

You know you're wired when...

You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
