Biotronic

Hi fellow Biotronic patient. I had a two lead pm put in Feb. 2007. One lead in right atrium and on in right ventricle. I am 100% dependent because of a complete av node ablation due to atrial fibrillation and palpitations. I have two email addresses that I have contacted Biotronic for. They are andrea.jabel@biotronick... and dan.dahlke@biotronic... My questions were answered almost immediately. My pm is set at 60 for low and iam not sure what the high is. I agree with you the best person you can have is a biotronic rep there when he adjusts your pacemaker. Last time thanks to this web site and all the good people we converse with every day, I got some printed information and asked some very direct questions and finally actually got answers. The squeaky wheels usually get s the grease! Do you have a night monitor by your bed too? My biggest problem right now is that the pm has shifted under my clavical in my shoulder and it sticks out bad when I reach across to my right side. They wont do anything about it they tell me as long as its not a big problem. I also have a sack of fluid under my arm due to the thing pushing on my shoulder. Hope this helps. I think if you email them at Biotronic they would be real eager to please you. The telephone no. also is 1-800-225-3375 if you want to call them. Good luck. DD

I agree, having a biotronik rep there is the best thing. I know from expeirance that not many cardios know about this PM. The rep for my state is wonderful and explains everything in detail.

If you call the Biotronik main number they will have a Biotronik rep contact you and your cardio to schedule apts for adjustments and readings. Everyone I have talked to on the main line is fantastic and so helpful in answering any questions you might have!

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
