thanks

What a wonderfull website that has been created. I get on it every night and feel like I have shared experiences with several people in like situations. No one understands what you are going through both physically and psychologically when you go through this procedure and what you went through before the pacemaker which is why this website is so great! Thanks to whomever started this and made it possible for us to share experiences. I suggested a support group when I got my pacemaker in Feb.2007. They just thought it was a great idea and there was nothing like this that they knew of and suggested that I start one. Thanks and good luck everyone! DD

I'm glad you found this site. The members are warm, caring people, and you will find friends to help you with issues. We will support you, even if we don't always have answers. Sometimes it will be nice to be able to vent your fears or frustrations and know we have shared some of them with you! So, welcome and all the best to you!

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
