Hi pacemakerkid,

I just wanted to say how awesome it is that you want to answer questions and help other people. Lots of adults don't even get it that we should use our experiences to help others and here you are at 12! I am a mom of two teenagers and I can only hope that they reach out to other people like you have.

I saw in your biography that you got your pacemaker as a baby. I bet your parents were pretty scared. Have you had to have replacements? Do they have smaller pacemakers for babies or do they use the same ones they use in adults? How do your friends react about your pacemaker? I am amazed by your great attitude!

This is awesome another kid on the site! I have seen several 12year olds, but I'm 14. So I'm a pacer teen! I've had my pacer since i was 3months and I hope you have great support of your friends like I do. Maybe your mom and my mom should talk. Oh, and dont worry about finding this site so "late", i just found it a couple months ago and i've had 5 pacemakers!

We're glad you found us. My fisrt pacer was inplanted in 1978 when I was nine. I really can't remember not being paced. Your bio is very insiprational. Following your dreams is a great motto.
