Looks like I am headed for a second ablation to fight the afib, That is what my EP is recommending. First one was in 2021 and had good results for a while but afib is back even on the Tykosin. Reason for advising second abaltion is becasue the Afib is intermitent. I was scheduled for a cardioversion but right before I was to go for procedure i went back into sinus rythm. The second ablation recomendation isnt really a surprise since I have heard/read to have better success sometime it is needed. This will be pulse frequency and next available date is mid January. I have symtoms but not terrible like previous bout with Afib, I can go for a walk and do general yard work. I didnt want another ablation because I though after the first one I was a bit more banged up than I though I was going to be. What can you do.
Have a good one.

All you can really do is go with the advice of your team.
I only had one recorded event of AF on the device and never noticed it.
The more I read about it here, the more common it seems to be.
I hope you get a fix for it and have something less to worry about.

Ablation

Good luck with ablation. i heard a lot of great things with pulse field with the success rate being higher then cryo ablation. I have paroxysmal afib and my last episode was back in early march. its such a nusance when it happens and my EP has me on 50mg of fleccidine morning and night which seems to be keeping it at bay. Im not sure how long this will last but I changed my diet that im avoiding salt intake and drinking plenty of water. I hope you have a good EP. stay healthy.
