Hi everyone!
I have a pacemaker since I was 13. Now I have my fifth pacemaker, it's a medtronic crt-d. I got a dyson airstrait as a present and there is a warning about pacemakers. Does anyone who used this product before? I'm afraid to try it because of my pacemaker’s shock feature :)))

What a nice gift!
I would ask your doctor, possible take it to an appointment. When ipads were new and had those big magnetic cases, I called and asked if it was ok. They had me bring it in and we moved it around near my pacer, trying to see if it caused issues. Testing in safe. controlled circumstances.

Do feel free to contact the manufacturer of your device. I have found them to be quite helpful when I have had questions and concerns.

Hello
If there is a manufacturer warning, surely that's enough?
Looking at the adverts, you see someone with the item's mains lead drapped across where a pacemaker would be located.
Another clue is in the blurb about the Dyson Hyperdymium motor. Neodymium magnets?
Blowers like this even when mains powered use small DC motors which have magnets like cordless power tools.
I was surprised when I took a mains hot air gun apart, 240 volts AC, with an 18 volt DC motor.
Dyson also use a lot of additional electronics which could cause problems.
A better bet might be a basic hairdryer with a mains powered blower.
The risk actually is probably small if you didn't use it like the advert.
However with a defibrillator, it's probably not worth the risk.
It's a good thing that Dyson actually warn about it.
The blower I referred to was used with a pacemaker for years without a problem, as are many other tools, but I couldn't advise that it would be safe, simply because of the way it is used.
