Starlink

Anyone research Starlink Satellite internet and any possible issues with a PM?  My work is adding them to our vehicles and I'm trying to research the safety with no luck.  Had my PM for 6 yrs.

Satellite technology is outside my experience, but if you are working on installing and probably testing these transceivers, you could be exposed to higher than normal levels of RFI or EMI.

I presume your equipment transmits as well as receives. Power levels can be high during transmission, but would be subject to regulation.

I'm not sure if satellite phones cause pacemaker problems, using similar technology.

Have you tried your health and safety people? Or the equipment manufacturer?

It may be that you will literally have to step back from testing and being an onlooker at a safe distance.

It's such a specialised  occupation that information might be thin on the ground and if nothing turns up, simply keep away from testing.

You know you're wired when...

The mortgage on your device is more than your house.

It's much better to live with a pacemaker than to risk your life without one.
