wondered if any in the forum experience this. When I am sitting down or in a stationery position, I tend to doze off for a period of 10-20 minutes.
This does not happen when I am standing or driving or concentrating on an object of activity. I am not experiencing this at all.
I am currently taking valsarten and not a high dose.
This does not happen when I am driving or anything like that. It is more when I am reading or looking at the tv or computer. and not everytime. I tend to sleep about 7 hours a night.
Wondered if this could be a side effect of the valsarten I am on.

I too tend to dose off while watching TV, I did before I got a PM and I still do since my implant on July 8th, I think it's just a trait of getting old.

I've been doing this for years. You think I'll just close my eyes while the commercials are on, that's deadly cause you won't open them for 10 minutes.
OR. Some are just too stupid to watch. I refuse to watch those that try to sell you lottery tickets or betting commercials. Others I just mute. That's what the. mute button is for.
You are all too familiar with them.

I see you have hypertension. Not sure if you have any arrhythmias.I don't know your age or BMI. It might help to discuss this with your PCP . He might odrer a sleep apnea test.

It's a well known reaction to the tenth showing of Dad's Army or the Morecambe and Wise Christmas Show.
UK members will know what I mean.
Both are powerful hypnotics.
The really annoying bit is being woken up by the sound of the nightcap glass hitting the floor.
Time for bed.
The importance of BIO

As 'new to pace' said yesterday, basically rubbish in.. rubbish out.
Without Bio information any answer is meaningless.
If I was 20 years old, and sleeping excessively, this would be different from an 90 year old, just to give you an example of how the aging process makes a difference to our body's functioning. I trust you appreciate this 'Bionic Senior'.
Almost any medication is associated with tiredness, gastrointestinal problems. Surely, the information enclosed with your prescribed tablets list side effects, doesn't it?
If not see https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/valsartan-oral-route/side-effects/drg-20067355
You know you're wired when...
You have a new body part.

A pacemaker completely solved my problem. In fact, it was implanted just 7 weeks ago and I ran a race today, placed first in my age group.
