Helicopters
Pacemaker 5 years coming up now. No issues. Bradycardia and 3rd degree heart block. Going to San Francisco and alaska in 3 weeks. Helicopter ride think just nervous any tips! For any of it! Thank you. It is the farthest I have been and think that is what is unnerving me.

Aircraft and Pacemakers

I happen to work and teach in aviation as an engineer. You can go anywhere with your pacemaker. I have a dual chamber 100% paced and have traveled to the Arctic Circle to Japan many times. Aircraft/helicopters do not affect your pacemaker. Just enjoy your life and don’t feel you have to be restricted most of the time.

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
enjoy!

There is nothing about a helicopter that will affect your pacer. Having a pacer should never hold you back from traveling. Relax and have a great time! Alaska is on my bucket list, post pics!
