Thanks for your prayers and wishes

Thank you for your wonderful messages and prayers. About two hours ago I arrived home from the hospital with Brian. He looks heaps better although his legs are still an awful site. The initial diagnoses was Henoch Scholein Purpura. Brian became very confused and had a raging temp on Sunday so we took him to emergency. They did four biopsies from various places on his leg to find out what was wrong as they were not sure what the problem was. He was lapsing in and out of consiousness and in great pain. He has a plate in his leg from a bad fracture and I did wonder if he was rejecting it but all seems ok and the purple/blood red is starting to change now. He has not had a good run. He keeps having tia's or seizures. He has to see the neuro specialist on Wednesday. So thank again for your support. Keep those prayers coming and the candles lit and the positive thoughts. Naturally we are devastated about cancelling our trip. We had so many bookings to mind pets and houses. Something we love doing but there is a reason for everything. My dog will love us home and the garden will be better for the attention and the place may at last get tidied up from the big move when darling daughter came home and the place was divided up.

I am new to the site (last month) and have seen some of your posts. I certainly hope your husband has a full and quick recovery. I hope the neuro can help your husband soon! I also hope his legs heal quickly.

your daughter has returned to help you. yes there is nothing like a daughter is there ? well yes there is always a reason for everything and good always comes out of bad. so enjoy her help and visit and maybe this is good to spend some time the three of you.the house sitting can wait love,jessie

Hi Billie,

I haven't logged on in a while until today and was stunned to read about your husband, Brian's, health problems. Life can really catch us by surprise when least expected. I've just prayed for both of you and I hope you can feel love, support and prayers of friends all around the world. I will continue to pray for his healing and you to stay strong. We know the Lord will bless you with strength to see this through. Please keep us update on how Brian is doing. And, on how you are doing as well, Billie. God bless and hold both of you in the palm of His hand.
