Had pacemaker put in in April of 2023 so I am a newbie so to speak.
I have an unusual expierience that I have mentioned to my Cardiologist as well as my PM technician with no real clear answer. I am scheduled to have a yearly pacemaker check on the device so maybe this situation will be resolved At exactly the same time every night my pacemaker causes my heart rate to increase not drasticly, but it goes from 62 beats to about 78 for about a minute or less duration, It seems like it is doing some kind of testing. The device is supposed to send results to its base at 2:am every evening and my PM tech seems to imply that there is no abbormal readings. Anyone?

Timing sounds off but what you describe sounds like the daily test when it sends the report.

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.

Hello
Could you fill in the details of your device which will be a great help to anyone who can advise on this.
It does sound as though something has been programmed.
If you are resting at the time, it would be unusual to get an increase.
How do you measure your heartrate?
