Does anyone use the "Patient App"? I tried putting it on my iphone through Biotronik, but it always says the server is having problems. I would like to use it if it could help me. I'm new to all this pacemaker that I had put in at the end of December. Santa said I was naughty, so he gave me surgery for 2023. Actually, I'm very thankful for this modern technology. Does the Patient app only work on Android devices? Thank you for your help.

Works on my Android

Can't comment on the iPhone issue, but Patient App works for me on my Android.
One thing to be aware of is that it seems to need the Biotronik bedside box to be within radio (Bluetooth?) range of your phone; i.e. the app has to communicate with the box.
Even when it's working, it doesn't add greatly to what you already know. I use the app to check that the previous night's home monitoring transmission was successfully accomplished. It also allows you to see a fairly detailed summary of what device you have installed and how it is configured: plus PM battery and device status. Good for reference.
I do not leave my bedside monitor permanently on charge, although you are recommended to. One morning when the monitor battery had discharged, the Patient App was not able to give me an update - although it did not report server problems as in your case.

My Patient app still doesn't work. I'm thinking it might only work on an Android phone. Thanks for your help anyway.

I forgot to mention I have a CardioMessenger Smart by Biotronik. Maybe that could make a difference?
Thanks for your help.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.

And it .... finally works well. It's had a few problems which "Rhythm Management" in my case loves to blame me. Although every instance, at least 3, it's been on their end. I had to call them, or eventually they would call me. The app doesn't really tell me anything, but it allows me to upload a transmission if I'm having symptoms... I've never had to do that, but I do uploads at scheduled times dictated by my clinic. At the moment every 90 days.
Forgot to add mine is through Medtronic - "MCL Heart App."
