I received my PM on December 7, 2023. Since, then when I review my Fitbit on my phone the Irregular Rhythm Notification has started freezing up. Now, I have to get out of the App and then re-open the App. If I try to check the Notification again it freezes up again.
I want a Fitbit

Hi Zawodnik2 (Roger) and akaDM and GunnyG,
I have been through two sports watches, one Finger Oximeter and Our house Cuff BP Monitor.
All these devices misread Pulse beats. I have established this is due to PVC’s, with and without a Pacemaker.
Do you have PVC’s and does your Fit bit read well with them?
I would like to have one for the Gym.
Thanks Andrew

Hi, Andrew,
I have heart conduction disorder, but before I received my PM the irregular rhtym notifiation. Would work on my Fitbit, now it just freezes up.
I received my Fitbit from an offer from the Veterans Administration, the offer was 60% off and my Wife had one, so I decided to buy the Fitbit. It, does keep track of my steps, and automatically knows when I'm exercising. So, if I'm on my elliptical the Fitbit will log my time on the elliptical and how many calories I burned.
Thanks GunnyG

I need it to monitor my max pulse TBD and make sure I am not overdoing it.

Yes.
I'm going to use the data to prove that I need my PM base rate increased from 50bpm to something like a normal RHR level. I'm paced 100% and my current RHR is only a few beats more than the base rate. So I still have bradycardia. **grumbles
PVCs/FIT BIT

I had PVC's for the first year or so when I got my first of two pacemakers 16 years ago
. I think it may have been caused by my heart adjusting to being paced. They disappeared from my interrogation print outs afterwords so I have no issues with FIT BIT. I use mine exclusively to check my nightly heart rate on my iPhone display which displays a solid 60bpm except for pee breaks. I also monitor the rate response when exercising.
I am getting very close to getting my second pace maker replaced in a month or so after nine years. I am anxious to see what the FIT BIT displays when my pacemaker goes into ERI/EOL mode.

PVC's went away, you give me hope
Monitering Rate Response when Exercising, you give me hope
9 years ERI should warn your EP. I think there is buffer for early indication in pacemakers.
This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I see my EP Monday
Might try Target for Fitbit, they have a good return policy
Good luck with your new device

I don't think I have anything useful to say

I have a pm (CHB). Everything seems to be working well. No PVCs or anything else.
I have a Fitbit. It also works well.

I have an ICD which is both a pacer/defib. I have no problems with mine and it has saved my life.

I've had one for years and it acurrately displays my heart beat staying above 60 bpm. Very important for me to monitor as I am nearing my second replacement
