Adding Hyperlink to our editor

Hi Craig, (DoingMyBest) has asked how I add hyperlinks to our editor, these are the steps that work for me. I do all my editing and spell check/grammar (USA) in WORD first.

  1. Copy the link from the https bar.
  2. Paste into a WORD file.
  3. Place curser at the end on the line
  4. Hit return: This makes it a hyperlink and turns blue.

Save the WORD file.

  1. Leave the WORD file open
  2. Go to Pacemakers club editor and Copy-Paste Ctrl-V.

EXAMPLE:

American heart Association.

Emoticons

In response to a PM asking me about emoticons:

I haven't posted from my desktop computer so I can't say how emoticons are added with that. I have an iphone... I post here with that. I can just use the phone keyboard and switch from letters to emoticons.

Overuse of emoticons drives me crazy but using a few here or there seems to help convey the mood and tone.

My friend tells me I use this one a lot 😵‍💫 so I guess it's reflective of life at times  🤣!

I like the sarcasm of this one🙄 lol!

Andrew, do you know how to post emoticons on this site from a desktop computer❓ I know I can use them on my desktop when using an email application. 🤨❓

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.

I had a pacemaker when I was 11. I never once thought I wasn't a 'normal kid' nor was I ever treated differently because of it. I could do everything all my friends were doing; I just happened to have a battery attached to my heart to help it work.
