Using eye wand with pacmaker

Had pacemaker 2018. ( All Good )

Just purchased a heated eye wand to try and cure my dry eye condition.

On receiving purchase have read the instructions which say don't use with pacemaker with cardiac defibrillator . I haven't got defibrillator so would this be ok if I keep it six inches away from my pacemaker

Magnets and eye wands

You don't have a defribrillator, so you're good to go.

The 6 inch rule of thumb is a good guideline, but the truth is, magnets don't represent much of a danger to those of us will plain ol' pacemakers. While theoretically a magnet could affect our pacemaker, if it did, it wouldn't do anything to damage either us or the pacemaker. Our pacemakers are built to take a brush with a magnet in stride.

Hope the eye wand works. Let us know if it does.
