Spiroolactone

Is anyone on the med spironolatone? My doctor wanted me to take it but I had bad side effects! What is it for?  Did it help you?

It is a potassium sparing diuretic for blood pressure, heart failure, etc..

I was on it for a while. I was already hypogonadal and the drug destroyes androgens for lack of a better way to put it. It killed what little libido I had left and gave me major gynocomastia. He took me off of that and put me on elperenone.
