According to some hospitals, you must keep a distance of minimal 15 cm. I myself have made it a rule to increase that to atleast 30 cm for all domestic devices like mixers, magnetrons, tv, tuners etc..

Stick to reputable and probably more expensive brands if you are worried.

Brands with good reputations to maintain will have their goods go through rigorous testing and then can display markings to show they comply.

Depends where you are, but typically CE for Europe, British Standards (BS) for UK.

If equipment churned out enough electromagnetic radiation or interference to mess with a pacemaker, it wouldn't pass testing.

Even devices that emit RF radiation like "smart" devices, your broad band router included, have to comply with strict limits on radiation power.

If your mixer is unbranded, cheap and comes from faraway places, that's a different matter. Avoid.
