since 2007 I was fitted with a St Jude ICD.  Following a recent opperation I got an infection, as a result my device needs to be changed to a Sub-Cut ICD.  A sub-cut device is fitted in the under arm area where a bra normally fits.  Can anyone advise on which bra you have found comfortable to wear with a sub-cut ICD?

Comfort bras

One slightly positive result of the pandemic has been greater availability of comfort bras as people stayed home. It sounds like maybe something very minimal and stretchy would be a great starting point for you. In the early post-surgery days, something you can step into (no back clasp, no overhead pull-over) would likely help. Best wishes for your surgery and feeling better!

A good bra

There are halter-style bras, designed for wear with 'backless" dresses, which I imagine is something like what you would need. I don't believe you could find them anywhere except a specialty shop.

With the number of women who are having breast surgery and need special bras afterwards, there are more of those type shops around than there used to be. Shops where they can design and sew a bra fit to you. In fact, one just opened up down the street from me.

Some internet searches might pay off.
