Tell your success story!

If you haven't notice, we have a new category on the forum, SUCCESS STORIES! Please post your story there.

When newbies first come here they are often frightened by all of the frustrations and complications, which are the exception not the norm. So we thought it would be nice to have a little happy corner of real life success stories.

Happy Corner of real life success stories - I love it

by Gemita - 2023-03-28 17:34:37

Just to read the headline message “Tell your Success Story” makes me immediately feel better and think of positive things and that is always uplifting.  And of course our success story doesn’t have to be a major achievement like completing a Marathon does it?  Even small improvements in the way we feel or in the way we manage our day to day activities, are still massive achievements for some of us following years of inactivity prior to pacemaker implant.

I will post two uplifting success stories shortly.  Thank you Tracey and Admin for all your help with this.  I am sure it will be a favourite spot to visit in the future.

Great Idea!

Tracey, I loved reading your story,  I'm thinking it'd especially be a boost to the younger folks visiting the site perhaps discouraged and think their active lifestyles are a thing of the past after their pacemaker placements.

My success story isn't nearly as exciting, coming from an acquired condition associated with old age, but much to be grateful for in any case.
