THANK YOU

Want to give a big shout-out to BLAKE.  I had a VERY (imposible) time trying to post a picture with my name.  Reached out to the club thru "contact" and BLAKE responded back.

He tried to walk me thru the process and being the computer dummy I am -- I just could not do it.  After some more 'back & forth' I just sent him the picture I wanted to have and he put it in for me.

It's a picture of a Boxer dog, wearing a helmet and boxing gloves.  I have a Boxer, Bo, and he just cracks me up with his antics.

It's so great that someone like Blake, took the time to make sure my question was answered and helped me to post my picture.

Thank you again Blake.

Love your boxing boxer🤣

by Lavender - 2023-03-13 11:16:39

I grew up having a fawn boxer dog who lived 14 years. When I was 17, she passed. "Cinderella " was my best friend, loyal companion. Your Bo is a cutie!

Blake is awesome, as usual!

BOXER

by docklock - 2023-03-13 11:34:40

Lavender, I've had many dogs thruout my life, but I can honestly say my Boxer, Bo is silly, goofy and totally loving all at the same time.  I live by myself and Bo has been my constant companion.  Even when I had my PM installed in Jan. of this year, my son stayed with Bo to keep him company.

Bo was so excited when I came back from the hospital.

I wish many more people were as honest and totally forgiving as dogs.

DOG spelled backward is GOD.  While CAT spelled backward is TAC.  (Shows I'm a dog lover and not a cat lover.) LOL

Nice profile pic

Hello Docklock, pets are members of the family and we would all be the poorer without them, wouldn’t we?  Would you care to share with us some of Bo’s tricks?

I no longer have a pet, but we had two cats at one time and they were hilarious “together”, always chasing each other round the house and flying through the air.  If we gave them our backs they would cling to our trousered legs, climb up our backs onto our shoulders to reach the upper cupboard shelves where they would find a comfortable place to sleep or stare down at us.  We love all animals equally.  Cats are certainly more independent than dogs and they are certainly not as faithful as a dog in my experience, since they would quickly find another home if their home comforts were not up to standard!

Yes we are fortunate to have Blake watching over us and I am glad he was able to help you.  Next time you get into trouble, you can always post a message on the forum too.  Someone is usually around

Playful

by Lavender - 2023-03-13 11:54:02

Yep boxers are so playful. Our Cinderella loved catching rocks and snowballs. She would stop in her tracks, look at you and then jerk to the side running wildly. My neighbor has a boxer that does the same teasing play. Great breed!

I'm an animal lover whose grandparents lived on the farm next door-goats, dogs, cats, rabbits, ponies, all kinds of fun. I have had many pets myself and love them all-dogs, cats, hermit crabs, parakeets, fish, gerbils, hamsters. That happens when you have three sons!

We just lost our last pet this past November. He was a stray tuxedo cat who showed up on the doorstep bleeding eleven years ago. He worked his way into my heart. Very needy. Lots of medical issues like diabetes, bowel not emptying trouble, a broken back and leg surgeries from being in fights before we met.

I vowed no more pets when I had to look in his eyes, knowing he wouldn't survive his mouth cancer.  I can't put my heart out there. I mourn for months at the loss. Still missing him-our "Vito Corleone" who stole our hearts.

Hoping no one drops off a boxer pup. Not sure I could refuse one. 🤣

If you've tried everything Gemita suggested, take a look at the file size. It may be too large. If that's the case, you can email it to me. PM if you need.

Ok so I've uploaded 3 pics but it won't put one of them as my profile pic.

Success so far, great news

by Gemita - 2023-03-15 15:24:23

Biotronik2, I see you have uploaded two of the same pic to the gallery, but never mind I can delete one for you, if you wish?  To post a profile pic, this isn't done from Members Only.  It is done as follows:-

When logged in you need to go to your account (top left) and click on your name, then

under Required Information, go to Photo, click box: (choose file) then upload your photo again from your computer and you should see this as your profile pic.  We can then delete the duplicate pic from the Gallery

Update:  let me know if you cannot manage to get a profile pic to work, since I cannot see how I can do this for you from my account, so may need to involve Admin.  Anyway I will keep an eye on this post and wish you lots of luck and patience.  I will leave your duplicate pic for the moment, in case we can use it

Picx3

by Biotronik2 - 2023-03-16 14:51:51

I've tried that but all I get is the choose image button and out to the side of that IMG_3700.jpg. No image inside the box at all

Okay I will take up with Admin

by Gemita - 2023-03-16 16:26:51

Biotronik2, I will ask Admin for assistance to see if he can get one of your duplicate images transferred to your profile pic.  What a business!  I expect you are exhausted.  You might in the meantime like to email your pic (IMG_3700.jpg) to:

info@pacemaker.com

in case Admin is unable to use the duplicate pic sitting in the Gallery

Pics again

Ok I've got someone named Blake in my email asking for my password. He told me to check with you Gemita to make sure it's legit. I'm guessing since he called you by name it is lol.

Yes it is perfectly safe to give Blake your password

by Gemita - 2023-03-20 15:11:43

Biotronik2, Blake is Admin (he owns this site) and you can be completely confident that your account will be safe in his hands.  To get your duplicate pic transferred from the Gallery as your Profile pic, Blake will need to do this from your account which is why he is asking for your password.  Of course if you are not happy to do this, then feel free to say so and you could try again to do it yourself at some time, or not to bother with a Profile pic?

I look forward to seeing your Profile pic soon

You know you're wired when...

You fondly named your implanted buddy.
