Looking for a Heart Monitor that stays on and is easy to view

My apple watch tells me if my rate is over 120 when I'm not active. It will also alert if it catches afib. 

It's not good to watch your rate all the time. It's too easy to obsess over the (perfectly normal) dips througout the day. Try to only check if if you feel like something is off. 

That said, my apple watch has a little heart on the home screen (it's customizable). If I tap it, it tells me my rate. 

Fourth Frontier chest strap monitor or something similar (less expensive?)

Hello Stephen, I see some members wear their monitors around their chests and some of these are sophisticated heart ECG monitors, monitoring heart rate, breathing rate, heart rhythms, continuous ECG  and much more.  I suppose it depends what information you want to receive and what you are going to do with the information:  for personal use or for reporting to your doctors?

I attach a link of a very expensive Smart Heart ECG Monitor, but there are many others around for a fraction of the price, if you feel a chest strap monitor would be right for you?

I see you have a Boston Scientific Guidant dual chamber pacemaker/defibrillator, so perhaps you want to do some serious monitoring to know how hard you can safely exercise without triggering any unnecessary shocks?  I hope you find a suitable monitor at a price that suits!

Stephen, thank you for your private message.  I will respond later today.  Just wanted to post this publicly since it seems you might be having problems responding to comments received on your own thread?  

When I try to search on your Username STEPHENG HCM - ICD/PACEMAKER PATIENT I get the message:

“Sorry the page you are looking for could not be found” 

which indicates to me that you might have had difficulties when you first tried to post to the forum, like something was deleted, or you timed out.  

I have just checked and you are most definitely a confirmed member of the Pacemaker Club, so I am not sure why we keep seeing this “Sorry..." message.

Anyway, I will send you a private message since I see from your Bio that you have already received a super scary shock from your defibrillator which misread AFib/Flutter high heart rate as being in V.Tach.  I am very sorry to hear about this.
