update to my resolution

It has now been 10 days since i gave up Pizza and Rye bread..  The craving the first couple of days was hard but the Mature person won against the Inner child. Did have many wheat foods in the house as had a party on the 8th.

Will see how thing's go as on April 16 my sister is visiting an will go out to eat and i plan to have some type of Reuben sandwich(rye bread, swiss cheese, saukeraut, thousand island dressing) maybe with Grouper(fish) or healthy with artichoke quarters. Along with Gluten Enzyme, beano, lactaid tablets and an allergry pill.  Which has  many  of the foods i should avoid according to my Cardiologist.

The good news is that i have lost 6 pounds, which I needed to loose.

Will see  the results of whether i had any A-fib episodes  in March.

Hello New to Pace,

That is such good news and 6 pounds lighter as well is amazing.  What are you replacing the Pizza and Rye bread with?  I love Rye bread, the heavier, the darker the bread, the more I like it, and better for glycaemic control anyway.

I am not doing so well with my New Year’s Resolutions.  I haven’t broken any but just not really focusing on them in the way I should. I just can't admit I'm failing, can I?  But I am not giving up just yet, I have the whole year ahead of me to change my ways.

Do you feel you have had any arrhythmia episodes since you started your Resolutions?  It will be really interesting to see the results of your next downloads and to see whether a change in diet has been beneficial in reducing any high heart rates or episodes of AFib.  I love these positive challenges and that is the way we learn our triggers for a pest like AFib.

Thanks Angry Sparrow.  I already know what i can or should not eat. Will strengthen that knowledge with an ALCAt food sensitivity blood  test next week.

My sister will be here only 2 hours.  So going out is the only option.

I am a label reader for what is in that i can eat and how much is in from the salt, fats, carbs and sugar.

Thanks Gemita at this moment have not replaced those foods.  Will wait to be sure after this food sensitvity test next week.  To see if i can put back in the wheat once in a while.  So my body thinks it is something new.

Cannot tell yet, then again did not know before.  Am keeping a daily list of what i eat and reactions along with the time of day.

Was thinking maybe mid quarter i might ask the pacemaker clinic if i can get a copy of the results so far.  Will tell them want i am looking for.

Woot! Celebrating with you and hoping it's contagious :)

You know you're wired when...

Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
