Problems after pacemaker check

I am experiencing irregular heartbeat after routine pacemaker check at electrophysiologist's office.  Is there a possibility it was reset improperly?  I mentioned to the physician that day that it was occurring, and he said it was not possible that it be caused by the pacemaker check.  I am going back today, probably to have an uncomfortable conversation.  Anybody else ever have a similar experience?

Theoretically the check  itself shouldn't leave any lasting symptoms but we've had some other members report feeling bad for the rest of the day. It's normal to feel the ups and downs and twitching as they run it through their tests. Once they remove the puck, it comes out of test mode and goes back to how it was before. If settings were changed, they would have a record of it.

I have come away feeling slightly "off" for an an hour or so but not as you describe improperly reset.
I was there last Monday and when they started I asked if this was when they turned the PM off to see how I feel. The EP said they only do that if you have a CRT type.
After asking several questions she looked at me and asked if I was some sort of engineer.

Wrong settings

Had the routine two weeks pm check in Aug with a tech.  All was good and I don't recall feeling anything after the visit but mention light-headedness when rising from a position with my head down such as pulling weeds or looking in a bottom cabinet.  The tech said she didn't see any events.  Six week follow up with EP got pushed to ten weeks due to his schedule. Mentioned the symptoms at that visit and the doctor sent me back to the tech who then said my settings were for someone much older and less active than me.  Which is interesting because I had asked her at my previous visit when I could start running again.  But the settings were done in the initial surgery so I don't think it's her fault other than perhaps not notifying the doctor at that first visit.  Made a change which is better but not completely gone.  I'll be changing EPs im January.  All this to say it is apparently possible to get the wrong settings and you can bet that I'll be like an engineer at my next visit.
