I had open heart surgery and a pacemaker placed in March 2022l Before the surgery I had to sleep sitting up in order to breathe correctly. I think I may have pulled a muscle or the shoulder cuff (?} I can't lift my arm ovner my head and My arm pops alot. I recently saw The Compression Shoulder Brace™ advertised. [Compression Shoulder Brace – Healthy Lab Co] It looks reasonable to me. What I need to know is it okay if I wear such a brace over my pacemaker? I do not want to have anymore surgery...

The brace isn't going to hurt the pacer, if that's what you're asking. But to echo the others, talk to a professional. If not an ortho, then at least a chiropractor or pt.

My muscles are very sore but each day it gets better and my range of movement is improving.
Ask a dr

I would be hesitant to self diagnose. You may not need surgery anyway. Perhaps you should see a dr and get an xray or test to see what's wrong. Then you can ask a professional if the shoulder brace would be ok. I wouldn't think it would affect the pacemaker if it's just a compressor type sleeve. But, it might rub over the skin covering the pacemaker which is not good. See a dr.
