I had a nerve conduction test done on my feet today. The podiatrist is aware of my pacemaker. I asked the technician who did the testing about complications with the pacemaker, and she said it didn't pose any risks because the tests were being done to the lower extremities, away from the pacemaker. Has anyone had this done? Are there any risks? Thanks in advance.

Test has already been done and you're ok so I wouldn't worry.
You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.

Nerve conduction tests

These tests should pose no problems because, as your doctor says, they're not conducted on the torso so there is no electrical path through the chest.
I've had these tests done on my arms because of pain after my accident last year. It turns out that I have conduction problems in both elbows and both hands. My right had a lot more damage because of the accident (wrist had a displacement fracture) so I had a carpal tunnel release at the same time as the surgeon removed the hardware that was holding my wrist together. Both were done to try regain motion in my right hand.
