Battery powered

My cardiologist told me that any hand-held yard tool was fine except gaoline powered backpack blowers.  The engine was too close to the PM. Battery powered tools should be fine because they use small DC motors (gas engines have a magneto). It takes a very large static magnetic field to bother a pacemaker and even then it'll just put it into diagnostic mode.  You may feel bad but it won't be any worse than what you'd feel during an interrogation without the "elevator test".

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
