Ask your doc

Your home monitor may need to come along on longer trips. Ask your cardiologist or EP-whoever's monitoring it. I know I was told it's ok to be away a couple days but they want to know.

Travel without remote?

There is no one-size-fits-all to this sort of question.  Probably not but may depend on why and how you're being monitored.  If it's a once a quarter sort of thing, no, there is no point to it.  If it's constant (nightly) monitoring, maybe.  Ask your doctor.

If available, the smart phone app is the best of both worlds.

I was told anything under a month, don't bother taking it. Mine reports in once a quarter.

You know you're wired when...

Three months of free Internet comes with each device.

I just want to share about the quality of life after my pacemaker, and hopefully increase awareness that lifestyles do not have to be drastically modified just because we are pacemaker recipients.
