Thank you so much for all of the information. I did see my gastroenterologist and she said to call her after my pacemaker is replaced if symptoms don't go away. My doctor was able to move my surgery up nd I'm getting a new pacemaker tomorrow.

Grandma, I also wish you well for today and hope that the new device helps with the problems you have been experiencing. Please be patient and allow any symptoms, if due to your present failing battery, to ease slowly. With a replacement device you will enjoy all the latest pacemaker technology and so should benefit in other ways too.
Please let us know how you are when you are fully recovered.

Thank you for the well wishes. I had my surgery this morning and it went well. I'm a little sore and feel tired but I'm sure that's from the sedation. My stomach still a little unsettled but most likely after effects of surgery.

Thanks for posting! Be good to yourself. Treat yourself as you treat those grands and spoil yourself a bit while you heal!

I am no expert, but I believe that without the defibrillator that I have, I would be dead.
May all be well!

Hoping your replacement goes smoothly and your nausea is resolved. Good that it was moved up! Let us know how everything went when you're more comfortable!
