Remote monitoring

Any idea why my doc would not provide remote monitoring, the Abbot PM tech said he doesn’t like to use them, Is this unusual?

My WAG is that either his office doesn't support them (cardiologist or EP?)or your insurance company won't pay for it in your case. All you can do is ask.

there is the cost of the take home device and then there is the cost to have the data collected.  this is the medical business so these things are expensive and someone has to pay for it.   I wouldnt be surprised if it is a cost thing.
