RECENT POST

Im in New Zealand at the moment visiting my son and grandchildren. A friend on this site told me to read BATMAN007s post. I have and the comments that were posted are a complete confirmation to me of the value of this site and the overwhelming decency of the majority its members who have a determination to remain in the land of the living as long as possible. On a sad note I have two friends in NZ and they have both been diagnosed with cancer and one of them has only until christmas to live. I would not swop my heart problem and pacemaker for cancer. Keep up the good work everyone. Cheers pete

Land of the living...

I'm with Pete... there is not a diagnosis in the world that I'd trade for why I have a pacemaker! Everyday I get up and now go to work. And if it were not for this site and the folks that have been here to support, encourage and cheer me on I might still be sitting on my rear in pitty.

Thanks to all those that have touched my life and shown me the way. You might not know what you did, but your hand was there. I find strength here that nobody else can offer me. Thank you, you are all wonderful.

It may be the first time we've felt a normal heart rhythm in a long time, so of course it seems too fast and too strong.
