My first post

I'm pleased to join The Club, and enjoy reading the  "You know you're wired when... " posts.

There is so much useful information on here.

My device fitted just four days ago, and positive results noticed already.

Well you certainly don't sound like a "brokenheart" to me and your experience so far seems really positive and I hope it continues.  Hubby and I both have pacemakers for Sick Sinus Syndrome (since 2018) and we are also in the UK and have benefitted too from being paced.

Would you care to share with us the reason for your pacemaker?  That would certainly help us to help you in the future.  Just let us know if you need any help or support.

Hello, 'broken heart'!

Welcome to this lovely friendly group! I'm in Scotland and had my pacemaker fitted last April. I had an AV heart block which was making me feel dizzy, breathless and generally rubbish! Thankfully my GP was on-the-ball and she got me into hospital to be monitored, and a PM was fitted after 3 days. I had an issue with a stitch that caused an infection a few weeks later, but it was sorted and I've healed well. I'm grateful every day for this device which keeps me functioning so much better. I hope you are taking it easy and that your positivity continue.

welcome!

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
