Schedule

A lot depends on you and your EP but a common prohibition is:

Driving: I was 1 week

Anything around water: 4 weeks. The wound has to completely close. Any infection (and lakes/sea are just full of bad things) can be deadly.  It's common for them to have to rip the entire setup out and place it on the other side because of an infection.  Your leads are a direct path to your heart. You don't want to go there!

Golf: Perhaps as much as six months for a full swing. One or two for pitch and put. Keep your shoulder moving though. This is important.

Your EP or one of his PAs or NPs should give you a whole list of do's and dont's. Follow them.

Activities

I walked and just healed up for about 6 weeks. Then I went back to work just doing pack jobs. I moved furnitture at the time. I went back to loading and driving trucks in about 4 months.

You know you're wired when...
