Apple I phone safety

I want to replace my 6 year old Apple I phone 6 with an Apple I phone 12 or 13 . I have read various conflicting reports about the small magnets in these phones.

I wondered if any other members have one of these phones and have had problems or have been problem free?

I had the same questions when I replaced my old Apple iPhone for a new model. My electrophisiologist said it was OK as long as I keep the iPhone at least 6 inches away from my PM. I have had my new iPhone for one year now, and I have had no problems.

Should Be Okay

Hello,

As previous poster said, any sort of "smart" devices should be fine if not kept within 6 inches to the PM and on a consistent basis. I personally use an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I am aware that it has the MagSafe charging rings on the back of it, but my phone never comes within 6 inches.

When I place phone calls, I use my opposite ear (my right ear) and on occasion, I forget and use my left ear and never notice anything different.

I would think as long as you're not laying the device over your PM for extended periods of time, then you should be fine.

I believe worst case, it puts your PM into "safe" mode, which it exits once the device is moved away.

Take care

Jer

Should be fine

I spoke with both my EP and Boston Scientific before I purchased my iPhone 13 Pro.  They both said it was fine and to keep the phone 6 inches away from my device and don't lay my phone on my chest.  I have had it since October and haven't had any problems whatsoever.  Enjoy!  I was replacing an iPhone XR and they said to just use the same precautions I was already using.
