NEWBIE

Introducing myself having had a pacemaker fitted on Thursday last. 79 years old and a lifetime of abusing the body physical from icy wastes, to deserts and jungle climes.  [ex RN and Army - Para trained Commando, Army Diver etc., serving around the world and as a civilan and only came back to the UK to live 2 years ago]   I look forward to perusing posts in this club from you pacemaker wearing old sweats.

Nah, pacemakers are as dull as a Timex watch run by bunny batteries.

Welcome to the club!

Welcome Ben.

Sadly, but lifesaving, some of our bunnies with batteries are quite young, and whether Duracell or not, plan to run on and on.

You seem to specialise in joining elite units, so welcome to this club. We too are all survivors of operations.

"Utrinque paratus"

Whilst we don't have a club motto, Duracell batteries  have 'Stronger and Longer', so perhaps we should adopt that?

Welcome

A warm welcome, now you have your PM, you can carry on abusing your body as much as you want, just give it a few months! Best wishes!!

You know you're wired when...

Friends call you the bionic man.
