Good, I guess

The problem with feeling pretty good most of the time? When I have noticeable a-fib symptoms, I have forgotten what they feel like! Laid down for a nap & when I got up I felt my heart racing, was slightly short of breath, felt sort of shaky...Started to get uneasy & then I realized that I used to feel this way a lot more often!

Glad you're generally feeling very well, TLee. I'm not a habitual napper at this point in my life, but upon awakening from the occasional nap, sometimes I feel the effects of the "waking hormone" cortisol including heart pounding and maybe a feeling of disorientation.

Good for sure

A steady, dependable heart beat is truly a wonderful thing, isn't it? But it's easy to take for granted since it's always there.

It probably does us good to get the occasional reminder of what the pacemaker is doing for us, so that we can be properly grateful.

You know you're wired when...

You’re officially battery-operated.
