Covid 19 vaccination

Got my first Covid vaccination three days ago, very mild reaction, slight soreness in area of injection. From what I hear, I'm one of the earliest to receive the vaccine. I'm a veteran and rerceived it at the VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre PA. Booster shot in two weeks. I'll let you know how that one works out. Get the shot when available, let's return to normal.

Vaccine

We had ours two weeks ago at a county drive-through, believe it or not.  It was a miserable, rainy, day about 40F and all of the workers were standing out in the rain as we drove by filling out paperwork and got the shot through the open car window.  Very well done and about as safe as you can get.  I don't know when or how we'll get the second dose or if there will be any left in a couple of week when we're due for the second installment.

My wife just had some injection site discomfort.  I had that, plus some muscle ache and my knee hurt like hell.  It may have something to do with sleeping because any time there was any prolonged pressure on any part of my body, it hurt.  i was tired for a day, as well.  The day after that, the injection site pain increased for a couple of days.

My wife is normally the one who has a bad reaction.  This time she had essentially nothing.  I had some reaction but not really that bad.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
