After the Holter Monitor Data is studied, is it ever in a summarized format that can be reasonably understood by the patient? Has anyone ever seen their findings? --EL

Monitor report

Mine was also summerized and fairly easy to read, showed the specific info about what was being looked for, ie..my case was complete heart block with episodes of pausing. Showed 47 pauses of 3-5 seconds each, among other things. just ask for a print out, your Dr. or staff should agree. good luck Chris
You know you're wired when...
You play MP3 files on your pacer.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

Yes they are summerized. As to weather the patients can understand them depends on your knowledge of the heart and the electrical circuit.
I see mine all the time and understand probably 85% of the report.
