Vitamin B complex

I just recently had PM surgery on October 19th.   On my discharge orders my Attending Dr at the hospital had... "Stop taking vitamin b complex "   i don't understand why.  I am asking here to get others perspective on this.  I wven asked my Cousin who is a Cardiac Nurse...and She wasn't even sure.  She thought it would be the other way around.   I'm hoping it was just a typo on my Discharge papers.

I would see your general doctor and stop B complex until you get some answers

Are you taking mega doses of B complex vits?  These can build up to toxic levels if not careful and too much of a good thing can be harmful. With B6 it can cause nerve damage.  After being deficient for years I went on B6/B Complex for a period and ended up with pins and needles/tingling sensation in my hands and feet which stopped on cessation of the supplement.

Perhaps your doctors saw evidence of high levels in your blood stream which could lead to other conditions, or worsen existing conditions which you may have if levels are not firmly controlled.  Also high levels may adversely interact with any medication you are currently taking for example and so you really need to ask them why B complex should be stopped.

I note from your history that you enjoy eating "weed". Is this a regular habit?  I do not know if there are any harmful interactions with B complex vitamins or with your other meds so a doctor's opinion would be valuable

Yard work...not eating "weed"

Oh that reassures me nhamblin.  I am glad you have changed your Bio.  It reads better now.  Apologies I got it so wrong.  I have a similar tool.  We call it a trimmer/strimmer but I think "weed eater" sounds more effective.

You know you're wired when...

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
