Can a defibrillator move?

I had mine planted about 3 weeks ago and the "box" was directly below the incision but it seems to have dropped about an inch. I've left a message at the clinic but 12 hours later I've not had a response and I'm getting anxious about it. I went for a really gentle run yesterday so wondering if that caused it. No one said I shouldn't.

Unless it's flipped or is more painful, then it's fine. In theory they are stitched in place and don't move. In practice, some settling is normal as we heal and sometimes they just move.

Thank you

Thank you. I finally got a call back from the hospital and they seemed to think it was probably ok and it'll get properly checked in 2 weeks when I have my 6 week check.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
