out in four

Like your post says, I didn't get all that info the first time 8 years ago. They had me checked every 15 minutes and i had a private nurse keep a eye on me. Everything was good on my checkup but the person from Bocton Sceientific was in the room whhen they put my pacemaker in and thats when they check them, it worked fine for me the first time and I hope it works as good this time. I have a check up next week and will post the outcome. Have a nice day.

Hello CAGUY,

Thank you for all your updates.  I am really pleased that your replacement pacemaker procedure seems to have gone so well and I hope you continue to make good progress.

Make a list of anything you want to ask them at your check up next week so that you cover the important questions.  If you want to learn what settings you have, you could ask for an electronic copy of your pacemaker downloaded data or get a summary page of essential settings.  This is all good information and then you can look up anything you don't fully understand or ask questions on this forum.  I have a Medtronic pacemaker but I know there are many folks with a Boston Scientific pacemaker who might be able to help you understand what is set up and why.

Happy learning

It's been 15 days since I had my new pacemaker, no problems other then I still haven't seen the Dr, I when to office and nurse saw me and zi mention how bad the scar looked and she said it will heal. So tomorrow I'm getting rid of my Dr and have a new one September 8, I don't need all the test they give, my last Dr I had almost 30 years and I only seen him 3 times a year. These want me every month and give to many test that are always good. So new Dr next Monty
