Hi Everyone,
This Thursday will be the last day of week 6 for me, that means I have my PM for 6 weeks now, well almost 6 weeks!
So my question is, can I start golfing? I am not taking any medication or other health issue, all I am worry about is repositioning the PM lead. Mine is VDD single.
Please advise.
Rob

Welcome to the club! When you can resume golfing is something you should discuss with your doctor.

with golfing i would ask your doctor. i was told i chip and putt but a full swing no. he did tell me to-day that i could go to curves 3x aweek but also workout gradually and that it was okay to do that. so everyone is different and it is my age too so i would ask jessie
Golf after 6 weeks

Playing golf so soon just after 6 weeks seem too early. I was advised to stay away from golf for at least 3 months. Initially when I resumed golfing, it was a mental battle too, as I had to deal with a lot of personal doubts as I "blamed" every little discomfort for fear of the leads being unplugged. Now that I look back, I agree with luckyloo that keeping the feel in chipping and putting would be okay at 6 weeks and move real gradually on to a full swing in a couple of more weeks.

On my pamphlet thingy, it mentioned golf as one of the things you should ask your doctor about before playing again.
I guess a lot of pacers are golfers.....I think I need to go buy some equipment and join the gang, lol.
glad you're feeling up to it though. That's a good sign.
take care,

hi rob,
what does your dr. say? i personally would wait a bit longer. i've had a lead come out of place and it was very painful and it required another surgery.
chipping and putting i would think would be ok. a big full swing...i don't know. can you play best ball for a little bit?
