well now home with right arm in heavy duty velcro sling. when they listened to the pacemaker he asked about the afib still at 7 % . thank goodness a couple of my friends offered to help. as it takes 2 hands to undo sling for excerises.. using left that is why no capitals. staples out on the 16th. dr. said he got all of the avascular necroicses out.

Hi Mary,
So glad it is out of the way and you can look forward to some healing now. You did well to go ahead with surgery before the virus goes viral. Who knows what any of us will be facing then. Now you just have to take good care and build yourself up and make sure you stay well.
Hope you aren't in too much discomfort and that surgery will be a great success.
thanks

I am so happy for you that it is over and all apparently went well!
You are a real trooper! One day out of the hospital, you did a good job typing with your left hand. I hate to ask (because I know it must be a challenge), but how did you do the % symbol with one hand...................shift, ouch?
I suppose that you are still drugged. How do I know? Cause they don't listen to a pacemaker!
Best Wishes and hang in there. It only gets better from here.
