Cardiac Rehab After Pacemaker Implant

Is cardiac rehab required or recommended after pacemaker implantation? I have had AVR's and found this to help tremendously.

Hi Tex, I'm 10 days post op and asked if it was required for myself. They offer it if theres a plumbing problem rather than electrical which is sorted by the PM. Or that's what I was told anyway. Not sure what avrs are though?

If the underlying reason that you got pacemaker is now fixed, they may prescribe rehab to help get you back in shape. It's not the usual case, though.

BigDan, aortic valve replacement.Thank you for your help with this and noted. My EP informed not usually, but given my significant cardiac history, I definitely qualify.
