My pacemaker was done in Dec. 2019, then after having a lot of palpatations, the leads were changed two weeks later. I'm still feeling the palpatations, but to a less degree, and I'm on Eliquis. Just today, Feb. 26, I saw a small hard bump above my pacemaker! This really concerns me! Anyone else experienced this, and if so, is it serious? I will also be calling my Dr. concerning this also.

Thank you AgentX86 I really appreciate your input, it's just unsettling when you see something that was not visible before! Yes, I put 2020, instead id 2019, WOOPS!!

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

If your pacemaker was implanted in December of 2020 you shouldn't have any trouble at all yet! ;-)
Seriously, it's probably a lead. Nothing to worry about but leave it alone. As your wound heals and the swelling goes down your pacemaker may become more visible, particularly if you're on the small side. With the pacemaker, the leads may become more pronounced. I'm not a small guy ~200#) but my pacemaker and leads are clearly visible and the leads are very hard "bumps".
