Hello Taco19,
Are you referring to the Superior Vena Cava which is a major vein carrying blood from the head, neck, upper chest and arms to the heart ? Have you been diagnosed with a blockage following implant of ICD ?? It appears that venous obstruction is a frequent complication of pacemaker/ICD implantation, although many patients may be unaware of a problem because they develop collateral veins which enable blood to continue to flow.
As a matter of fact I fear I may have the problem myself since I have developed veins all over my chest on left side where pacemaker is located. I will be seeking urgent advice. Good luck
