Incision site

7 weeks post dual lead implementation for 3rd degree heart block / bradycardia. 

scar healing nicely had 6 week check last Monday. Estimated battery life 14yrs. 

last few days pain when moving around incision site  like stabbing pains  feeling very tired  am I right in thinking nerve regeneration? And this can last up to a year ?


am new to this and think am scared of doing any damage. Have gained over 8lbs in weight which I can't shift.  Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Stabbing pains is not normal at 7 weeks post op, especially when your 6 week check up was good.  It could be any number of things.  I think you need to have it checked.

Well, "stabbing pains" is kind of vague. I had very brief sharp, stabbing pains randomly for 9 months after implantation -- decreasing as time went on.  Nerves healing, as far as I know.

Hi, I just received my pm 10 days ago & noticed weight gain with edema - we think it was caused by BP meds.  They are adjusting my meds.
