Hello,
First time biven pm patient here due to a left bundle branch block, pvc's, history of heart failure and cardiomyopathy. I am very sore due to placement on a left frozen shoulder and finding recovery a bit overwhelming. My newest symptom is a very disturbing pulsing in my stomach which I'm guessing is diaphragmatic pacing but I have only heard this in people who have pm's placed behind their stomach so I am perplexed. I have them 4-5 x/daily and sometimes it pulses so hard I get nauseous. I did call my doctors office with a reply that it's normal but I don't know if I can deal with this new feeling for very long. Has any one experienced this before and if so, how long does it last and why is this happening in the first place? Thanks for the help!

Same thing happened to me

I experienced the same thing right after mt CRT-D implant and they were able to lower the voltage at my 1 week checkup. That helped a lot, although I still experience the feeling once in a while depending on my position.
how many leads?

I switched from a two lead to a three lead, biventrical. And I sometimes get "belly bumps" as the tech called it. doesnt cause me discomfort and I have to stand just right and breath just right and I will get two hits. if you have something similar then they can adjust/tune the pacer. if you recently had this put in they would tweak as needed a few weeks after, but if its causing discomfort other than the recovery from the surgery itself, call them.
even if it isnt biventrical, call them it likely needs a tweak to the settings such that it doesnt drive muscles other than the heart.

Thanks all! The Meditronic guy killed one of my leads so now even though I still feel it from time to time, it's not as bad. Appreciate the feedback.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
call them

I would give them a call. They can interrogate, possibly do an xray, to be sure a lead hasn't moved and is stimulating the diaphragm.
